Official version
The logotype (logo) of the Imagine Education au/in Canada brand is a marketing logo that is not part of the government's Federal Identity Program. It must be used in all activities and on all documentation and signage aimed at marketing education in Canada to international audiences.
Note that the logo is bilingual. There is no unilingual English or French version because bilingualism is one of the unique characteristics of education in Canada. The logo is available in a horizontal version only in order to make the signature more legible and produce optimum graphic impact.
The logo should not be redesigned or modified. To ensure the integrity of the logo, use only the electronic files provided by the brand manager.

Symbol
The maple leaf is one of the most powerful symbols of Canada outside the country. Its use in the logo, coupled with the phrase Imagine Education au/in Canada, is meant to achieve instant recognition of the education available in Canada.
The dynamic graphic treatment of the maple leaf reflects the dynamic, informal side of the brand’s personality. Graphically, the stem of the maple leaf subtly implies an acute accent on the "E" in "Education". Anglophone and Francophone viewers have the option of seeing it as an accent or not. Red is used because it is an effective means of portraying Canada abroad.
Slogan
The slogan "Imagine", written freehand, perfectly captures our biggest promise, which is to help students realize their dreams and potential by studying in Canada. The word "Imagine" is therefore an integral part of the actual logo that reflects the inspired side of the brand’s personality. Again, red is used because it is an effective means of portraying Canada abroad.
Signature (graphic expression of the name)
Imagine Education au/in Canada is used as the signature in order to quickly identify the brand with education and Canada as a host country for international students. The black lettering makes the signature easier to read, while the font (CompactilFACT) conveys a young, friendly image.
Colour logo
The official black and red version of the logo should be used whenever possible. If the budget allows only for single-colour printing, choose black. Use the black logo only when no other alternative exists. On a dark colour with low contrast, the logo must be used in its reverse form.

White space
To increase the visual impact of the logotype, the minimum space around is equal to the height of a capital letter "E" and the width of a lower-case "u" of the Imagine Education au/in Canada signature.
Position
Because the logotype is designed to resemble handwriting, it is very important to rely on the visual horizontal centre rather than the mathematical centre when placing the logotype in the middle of a designated space.

Minimum size
The logotype should never be placed in a space narrower than 1 inch.

Use on coloured background
In its official colours, the logo should ideally be used on a white background, but it can be used on any light colour. Where the background is dark, use the reverse version.
The logo should not be used on a background the colour of which is very close to the official red of the maple leaf. Use the reverse version in such cases.

Use on textured background or photograph
It is generally recommended that the logo not be used on a photograph or a textured background. However, where it is used that way, place the logo in an area of the image or texture that is not too busy.
The guidelines for using where the logo on a dark background also apply where the logo is to be used on a photograph or textured background.

Prohibited modifications
The logotype must not be altered. The following modifications are therefore prohibited for all versions of the logotype:
Modification of position or proportion of elements

Modification of colour of the elements

Modification of writing form of the words or symbols

Replacement of text

Replacement of font
