Communicating the Brand
Message
We want all our communications to send a clear, consistent message on two levels:
- The student
The message has to speak directly to students with optimism, ambition and trust. Our message urges students to discover education in Canada and in Canadian provinces and territories. It has to spark curiosity and inspire commitment. - Diversity of education in Canada
The message must always convey an aspect/a characteristic/an advantage/an area of education in Canada. Examples include assurance of a quality education, the variety of programs, bilingualism, student-centred teaching and collegiality.
In order to be successful, every message must incorporate:
- Self-actualization
Education in Canada is a powerful catalyst for self-actualization. - Openness
Studying in Canada opens the door to a world of opportunity. - Simplicity
The power of our messages will depend on our ability to communicate them clearly. The best messages are ones which convey a single idea in plain language.
The messages to be conveyed through our communication tools vary depending on the age and interests of the target audiences and the target countries. To access the bank of approved messages, consult the Download Zone.
