To be used where practicable on the website and on printed materials.
The legal note "Imagine Education au/in Canada" and the leaf design is a trade mark of Her Majesty the Queen in Right of Canada, used under license/ Imagine Education au/in Canada et la feuille d’érable est une marque de commerce de Sa Majesté la Reine en chef du Canada, dont l’utilisation est autorisée sous licence" must appear on any publication (on an inside page or back) of the institution/association using the logo.
Languages
When use occurs in Canada, the notice shall be in the English and French languages as set out above. When use occurs outside Canada, the notice may also include an equivalent notice in the local language.
Guidelines for legal notes:
- When the trademark is used individually, an asterisk shall be placed in proximity to the trademark, leading to a notice elsewhere on the documentation, which will include the following wording:
* Trademark of Her Majesty the Queen in Right of Canada, Marque de commerce de Sa Majesté la Reine en chef du Canada - When two or more trademarks are used in combination, a single asterisk shall be placed in proximity to the composite trademark, leading to a notice elsewhere on the documentation, which will include the following wording:
* Trademark of Her Majesty the Queen in Right of Canada, Marque de commerce de Sa Majesté la Reine en chef du Canada - In reference to the leaf and "Imagine" designs, a notice should appear indicating that these designs are the subject of copyright protection:
